News & Views – December 2017

Reaching the end of a year is always a great time to reflect on the year that has been and look ahead to the next adventures and this certainly rings true for me this year as Turning Tables is turning 10 this month….Very exciting to think how far the business has come in this time and a great opportunity for me to say thanks to all the fantastic people that I have had the pleasure to meet and work with during these 10 years.  A few highlights are below:

  • Presenting at both the HNZ Future Leaders Day and also at the RANZ Hospitality Summit
  • Having the opportunity to travel to such a wide variety of places within NZ and present to over 2000 people at Smart Leadership workshops since 2014
  • 3 years spent on the Lewisham Foundation Committee – a real pleasure to be involved in such an inspiring event
  • Helping develop the initial overview and resources for the ProStart hospitality programme
  • 9 years working with the management and staff at the five Farro Fresh stores
  • Watching and being involved in the development and growth of many young hospitality leaders
  • So many laughs and fun along the way
  • Building long term relationships with many clients as well as the “repeat offenders” who have returned for many of my workshops

Thank you to all of you who have been involved with the business over the last 10 years and I look forward to working with you all over the next 10 (might even get up to speed with technology by that time!!).
